Mining was the staple in the upper Midwest and Houghton visitors can tour the Quincy Mine or the Coppertown USA Minning Museum.
The whole family will have a fun time at the Mine Shaft Mega Fun Center right next to the Country Inn & Suites hotel in Houghton. Tons of indoor fun including bowling, go carts, mini golf and great food.
